It isn't enough to just remember. Wake up, America!

  1. I didn't want to sign up my email so I didn't watch the video. But I think you bring up an excellent point, reminding us all that we are still in danger and that there is still evil out there who wants to destroy our way of life. We can NEVER forget that.

  2. Interesting how one can interpret what is meant by "It isn't enough to just remember." I was just having this conversation with my daughter today - we were watching some of the documentaries that interviewed survivors of 9/11. Common theme: people seemed to be able to put aside their own selfishness and think of the welfare of another fellow human being that day. Sad to say, but isn't that how it should be every day?

The other reaction I'm having to your post is that (in my own personal and humble opinion) we can remember the tragedy, but we are no longer talking about remembering how we got there... people are no longer asking how did we get to this point? Think about it, how does a group of folks come to hate another group so much that they would see their actions as justified revenge... none of this happened in a vacuum -a point that the media seems to have neglected.
